Budget Safari · Multi-Park
Five parks, one circuit — the famous red elephants of Tsavo, Kilimanjaro views in Amboseli, and Big Five game drives in the Masai Mara.
TSAVO EAST · TSAVO WEST · AMBOSELI · LAKE NAIVASHA · MASAI MARA
Kenya's most iconic parks and reserves in a single, well-paced circuit.
The route opens with the famous red elephants of Tsavo East, moves through the volcanic landscapes and crystal springs of Tsavo West, and on to Amboseli, where elephant herds move beneath Mount Kilimanjaro's snowline on a clear day. A scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha breaks up the drive north before the trip closes with two full days of Big Five game drives in the world-famous Masai Mara.
Full-board accommodation and a private tour vehicle run the whole way through, so the only thing that changes each day is the landscape outside the window.
Day by day
Pick-up and drive to Tsavo East, home of Kenya's famous red-dusted elephants. A first game drive on entry is followed by lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge and a visit to Aruba Dam, where wildlife gathers to drink from the Voi River.
Later, a stop at the elephant rehabilitation centre, where orphaned elephants are cared for before their eventual return to the wild.
Morning at Mzima Springs — crystal-clear waters, hippos, and crocodiles, with a guided nature walk and an underwater viewing chamber for a close-up look.
An afternoon game drive covers Tsavo West's savannah plains, acacia forest, and volcanic hills, with an optional walking safari or night game drive available on request.
An early game drive before breakfast, then on to Amboseli — famous for its large elephant herds and its views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Optional activities include a Maasai village visit or a guided nature walk.
A full day of game driving through the swamps that keep Amboseli's elephant herds visible year-round, with a picnic lunch at Observation Hill for a panoramic view over the plains.
A drive to one of the Rift Valley's most beautiful freshwater lakes, followed by a scenic boat ride among hippos and over 400 recorded bird species.
Onward to the world-famous Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. A first game drive across the open plains follows, searching for lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard.
A full-day safari with a picnic lunch inside the reserve, taking in the Mara River — the setting for the Great Migration's crocodile-crossings — alongside cheetah, lion, elephant, and giraffe.
A drive to Nairobi with a stop at the Kazuri Beads Fair Trade Project, where handcrafted ceramic jewellery is made by local women artisans, followed by the historic Karen Blixen Museum.
After lunch, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
